Boxwood from the south-west of France blank
It is a very hard, dense and homogeneous wood often used in turning.
It takes colour well and takes a very beautiful polish.
It is suitable for engraving, tool handles, lutherie accessories, etc...
Its burls, or “broussins”, are sought after and valued in knifemaking.
For this reference, several pieces are in stock because the wood grain is the same. The photo is non-contractual.
