The description

Macassar ebony blank

Macassar ebony is an exotic wood species highly prized in high-end cabinetmaking

Native to South-East Asia, this species of ebony is known for its dark, contrasting colour, ranging from deep black to dark brown with light brown to golden veins.

In cabinetmaking, it is appreciated for its fine grain and smooth texture, making it an ideal material for making furniture and luxury objects.

Its hardness and density also make it a very resistant wood, which contributes to the longevity of creations.
